Age Less.

I don’t agree
that age is
just a number.
Whatever your age is
that is your number.
Chronologically,
consecutively,
in order of time.
That number represents
the years you’ve lived,
the number of trips
you’ve taken
around the sun
and all the candles
you’ve extinguished.
But I do believe
that age is irrelevant.
It’s the least interesting
thing about you.
For you are so much
more than that number.
So don’t lead with it
under any circumstance,
in any situation,
or condition.
Instead fill the air with
lively conversation,
quick wit and repartee,
healthy debate,
civil discourse,
unbridled laughter,
tears of compassion.
And always leave them
guessing what your
number is.
